KooeeKeis Australian Cobberdogs ~ Ethical Family Breeder in WA
Choosing a breeder is one of the most important decisions you will make when bringing home an Australian Cobberdog. Our Cobberdog Breeder Process ensures every puppy is ethically bred, carefully raised, temperament assessed, and matched responsibly. We follow strict health testing protocols, early socialisation programs, and structured development milestones so your puppy receives the very best start in life.
At KooeeKeis Australian Cobberdogs we take our Cobberdog Breeder Process very seriously. We are active members of the Master Dog Breeders & Associates. We use the services of Orivet for our DNA Testing. We are most thankful to the help and assistance we receive from the dedicated team of reproductions Vets and Nurses at Sires on Ice in Midvale Western Australia
The first step in our Cobberdog Breeder Process is completing our Cobberdog Waitlist Application Form. This allows us to learn about you, your home, and your lifestyle so we can assess suitability and ensure the best possible match.
If your application is accepted, you’ll receive an email containing:
Our Pricing Policy
Contract for Sale of a Pet Puppy
Example Spay Secure Contract (for information)
Clear and honest communication is central to our ethical Cobberdog breeding practices. Once your application has been approved, we’ll invite you to secure your place on our waitlist.
Waitlist Fee: $800 AUD (non-refundable, transferable to another litter)
Current pet puppy price: $6,200 AUD (as at 1 January 2026)
Your position on the Cobberdog waitlist is confirmed once payment clears. The date received determines your placement order.
We welcome approved families to visit us by appointment and meet our dogs. This is a special part of the Cobberdog Breeder Process and allows future “pawrents” to connect with our dogs and our values.
You’ll meet:
Ridgy Didge Maddie Cameron – our foundation breeding girl
KooeeKeis True Blue – her first-born son and an outstanding example of the Australian Cobberdog standard we breed toward
If you have been allergic to dogs in the past, this is an ideal opportunity to see if our low to nil shedding Australian Cobberdogs would suit your family. Our unique way of seeing if you are allergic to an Australian Cobberdog.
When puppies arrive, the excitement truly begins. We share weekly photo updates on our website and Facebook page so you can follow their development.
Each puppy wears a coloured collar for identification, though final allocation is not determined until Meet Your Puppy Day at around 7 weeks of age.
At 6–7 weeks, we conduct:
Personality assessments
Independent aptitude testing
Daily observational evaluations
This ensures each Australian Cobberdog puppy is matched with the family best suited to their temperament and needs — a cornerstone of our responsible breeder process.
At approximately 7 weeks, families are invited to Meet Your Puppy Day — a relaxed gathering where you:
Meet your puppy for the first time
Connect with other new families
Learn how to prepare for Gotcha Day
You’ll also receive your personalised Puppy Pack, including food, toys, health records, and training notes.
Please note: The balance of the puppy purchase price must be paid by this day. For safety reasons, other dogs cannot attend.
Gotcha Day marks the final step in our Cobberdog Breeder Process. Your puppy goes home with:
A heartbeat bear
A familiar-scented blanket
The best start we can possibly give
There may be a few happy tears — from us and you!
Our relationship doesn’t end when you drive away. As an ethical Australian Cobberdog breeder, we provide ongoing guidance, support, and advice throughout puppyhood and beyond.
When we say “From Our Arms to Yours”, we truly mean it — with heart, integrity, and lifelong care.
